Inspection
We are committed to putting you behind the wheel of the highest quality pre-owned vehicles, at Milton Ruben. That’s why we have partnered with Toyota to offer Toyota Certified Pre-owned Vehicles because we know that they have been tested and inspected to the highest extent to ensure they are ready for your driveway. All TCUV must undergo a rigorous 160 point inspection process that is carried out by a factory-trained technician. Any necessary repairs that the vehicle may need will be carried out by a factory-trained technician and the vehicle will be reconditioned. The goal is to ensure that every TCUV has that like-new look and feel that you would expect in your vehicle, whether it is new, or new to you! In addition to the rigorous inspection that the vehicle will go through you will also receive aCARFAX® Vehicle History Report™ to ensure it’s worthy of the certification process. Only the best of the best vehicles receive the Toyota Certified Seal of Approval!
The 160 point inspection (174 for hybrids) is very extensive and includes:
- Inspecting the brakes calipers, lines and hoses,
- Checking for evidence of sludge in the engine
- Checking the drive belts and hoses for cracks or damage,
- Bumpers are free of cuts, gouges and scratches
- No evidence of previous improper repairs
