2015 Chrysler 200 Hits Augusta
Last week was an exciting week at Milton Ruben Chrysler Jeep Dodge. We welcomed two of the newly redesigned Chrysler 200s to our store. We like to call them, ” the gems from Detroit.” The first we noticed about the vehicle’s were obviously it’s exterior. The design is refreshing and shows the direction the Chrysler line is heading towards. They have taken took mere sheet-metal, crafted molded, & elevated it into something that is not only at home on the road, but could also be displayed at Augusta’s Morris Museum of Art. The sculpted trunk lid, headlights accents, and arching roofline make the Chrysler 200 sure to go down in the historic books as a definitive turning point in American car design.
The day the cars happened to arrive was a stroke of luck. We were hosting an advanced screening of Adam Sandlers’s & Drew Barrymore’s latest hit romantic comedy ” Blended “ at the Regal Cinemas. So we had a chance to take the sporty 200s model with us to the movies and give it a proper Augusta debut. As we drove we became intimate with the luxorious cabin of the car which made us feel like American royalty. The 200s’ s PentaStar V-6 engine’s acceleration was strong, smooth, but not noisy. After we arrived at the theater we handed the keys over to Brent from CW Augusta who acted a ringmaster, giving the car a grand introduction to the crowd that came to the movies.
As a dealership it was exciting to see how the public reacted to the newest member of our family. Many enjoyed the design and were shocked that the sticker price was not astronomical. Some enjoyed the fully digital display and the way the cockpit complements the driver. One woman even proclaimed ” This is my new dream car”. Now thats not bad for the 200’s first day out in Augusta!!
The thing is though, you can read about a car all day, watch youtube videos, but in order to really learn more about you have to see it in the flesh. Come to our store on 3504 Washington Road and check out the Chrysler 200 for yourself!

GROVETOWN, GA – Milton Ruben Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram presented a $780 check to Bakers Place Elementary as a donation from Chrysler brand’s Drive for the Kids® program this morning. The fundraising event was held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, in conjunction with the school’s Spring Carnival.

“We were excited to get involved with Drive for the Kids® because it gives us a chance to give back to the community,” said David Percival, Milton Ruben Chrysler Sales Manager. “We’ve really been making an effort this year to participate more in local events. Plus, it gave Augusta area parents a chance to test out our minivan. A lot of them were surprised it has so much power.”
Participants earned a $10 contribution to the school on their behalf from the Chrysler brand by taking a brief test drive in a 2014 model Town & Country minivan – highest ranked in loyalty 12 years in a row – as well as a 2014 Chrysler 300, both made available for test drives thanks to Milton Ruben Chrysler.
At the conclusion of the 2014 program, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Central, and West) will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler through the Drive for the Kids® program.
Since 1993, when Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids®, Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators in communities across the nation. Chrysler has contributed over $5 million directly to local schools for student needs, from playgrounds and field trips, to reading programs and new computers. Chrysler is proud of this tradition of community involvement.

You pipe up when you see ones that have to do with automotive services ( I mean car services are expensive, so who wouldn’t??). The words free oil change, discount tire rotation, free freon recharge leap out at you.
Now you’ve hopped in your vehicle on a quest to your local dealership (like Milton Ruben) to redeem these services. Upon arrival the service advisor sends your car off to get your free or discounted services performed. While your vehicle is in the service bay, the advisor delivers to you a list of problems wrong with your car. However, being the savvy couponer, you decline the service. You just wanted the free stuff, were hoping to save money, or worried that the dealership was trying to take advantage of you.
Well friends, that was not a savvy move. Our mechanics check your vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. You can’t get skimpy on your car maintenance. Maintenance needs to be preventative. For example, a minor problem like steering shake could mean that your brakes are worn out or that there is a problem with your tires. A tire blowout or a loss of stopping power can be prove to be catastrophic. Better to address the problem when it is minor before it becomes major.

We are so excited to announce that we have a brand new member of the Scion FR-S family headed to Milton Ruben Toyota Scion of Augusta. This year at the New York International Auto Show , Toyota unveiled a special release series of our beloved sports car that will have a production run of only 1500 vehicles. All of them will have special Yuzu (bright yellow ) paint , plate that signifies their limited availability, and a performance appearance package.
The changes to the FR-S are not radical but are substantial and declare that this is not your typical FR-S. The special edition’s has a lowered suspension, quad exhaust pipes from TRD (Toyota Racing Development) . To achieve better aerodynamics the vehicle gets a custom rear spoiler, front and rear ground effects, and side fenders. In the cockpit the car acquires a TRD steering wheel and shifter with build number.
The pricing has not been revealed yet, but “rumor has it” (Big shoutout to Adele!) that the Release Series 1.0 will start at less than $30,000, including destination.

What is XSP?
So many people that come into Milton Ruben Toyota of Augusta & see the XSP badge on some of our vehicles and conversation usually goes like this : ” Wow that is gorgeous” ” I have never seen that before ” ” I have looked at Toyota’s website & that package is not listed! “

Introducing #LoveAugusta!
Since 1982, Milton Ruben has a been a fixture in Augusta providing vehicles for people all across the CSRA.
Lately we have noticed people call our beautiful city Disgusta. We think that is far from the truth, from our marvelous historical downtown, to the shores of the Clarks Hill Lake, the gates of the Augusta canal, and the Signal Tower of Fort Gordon. Augusta, Georgia is a marvelous place.
So we decided to launch #LoveAugusta, a campaign to get everyone in the CSRA involved in showcasing our beautiful city. Photography and social media have become wonderful tools that allow millions of people everyday to share their vision of the world around them. We want to showcase adventures in Augusta so that a true representation of our city can be had by people all around the world.
Augusta deserves to be highlighted and considered among the marvelous places in the USA, so when we built our Toyota showroom , we commissioned a mural to showcase an Augusta of yesteryear and we also had special #LoveAugusta postcards made for our customer’s birthdays so they can share in the experience.
Our goal is to have everyone participate in #LoveAugusta.
