Hello everyone! My name is Gerry James and I am the new social media voice of Milton Ruben. As a car enthusiast and social media addict, this position been has great for me thus far!
I have only had a week on the job, but it has been such a blast already! Last week I walked into work on Tuesday and the first thing I was told was that two brand new 2014 Corvette Stingrays had just arrived on the lot.
As a Corvette lover and one that recently graduated from a university in Kentucky (the home of the “Vette”), I jumped up from my Mac, quickly grabbed my camera, and headed to the Chevrolet service bay to check out these beautiful machines.
As I walked into the bay, I could not help but shed a tear; never had metal, rubber, and carbon fiber looked so amazing!
Fresh off the truck, ready for inspection!
I met up with our mechanics as they were about to put the Stingrays through a gauntlet which included, an inspection, detail job, and a test drive.
(Note this is something all Milton Ruben vehicles undergo before hitting our showroom floors, we have to make sure they are at their best! )
After they finished the initial inspection and test drive. the cars headed down to our detail shop, and I have to say that once detailers were finished, I feel like our Corvettes could rival any beauty queen!
Look at the wax job on this car, shinier than a freshly minted quarter!!
Finally both reached their temporary throne, the showroom. As they wheeled in, heads turned, people fainted, and everyone had their phones out documenting their arrival.
The thing I have to come to realize about the Corvette, is that is not just a car. The Corvette is an experience, a work of art, and it is Chevrolet’s Sistine Chapel.
