Milton Ruben loves nothing more than giving away stuff to our wonderful CSRA community! If you haven’t yet heard about our DriveBaby™ Contest, you are missing out!  This $1000 scholarship opportunity is based out of our search for a precious, innocent face to represent our Superstore in commercials, photos, and other media materials.  The contest has been running for a couple months now, and we’ve already had several beautiful babies compete – and win!  So how can you not only join the effort, but up your ante to win?

1. Enter Early -This is not one of those situations where you swoop in at the last minute and attack with a final bid of three cents, stealing that collector’s lunch box from some poor soul on e-Bay with zero remorse.  This is one of those annoying situations where that pesty early bird packs some earthy protein goodness…. or a scholarship and a RC toy Corvette Stingray. The longer your child’s picture is on our app, the more opportunity people have to see his or her precious face, and choose them to be our DriveBaby™!

2. Share Your Story – Put some oomph! behind that precious face by personalizing it! Remember that a lot of people who are going to see this photo know absolutely nothing about your kid – but if you tell them something infinitely cute about them (ex: “Her best friend in the whole world is her daddy!”) you might sway them to the power of those puppy dog eyes.  Especially if it ties in to the photo!  (If you want to put even more fluffy backstory, send me your kid’s story and why they should win at socialmedia@miltonruben.com.  I’ll share the photo and the story!*)

3. Share the Link to the DriveBaby™ Contest App – You have supportive friends, family, and acquaintances you haven’t spoken to in four years, right? They would love to support the widespread adorableness of your kid, right?  Well, if you never tell them how to support the widespread adorableness of your kid, it’s going to be tough to tug and their heartstrings isn’t it?  Share the app and direct them to “like” the photo of your kid – consider it their investment in your child’s education! (Can a click be a tax write-off?)

4. Comment & Like Our DriveBaby™ Contest Posts – The voodoo of the Facebook News Feed is a lot like high school; The more someone is talking about something, the more it’s going to come up, and the more people will see it, and start talking about it again.  It’s a vicious cycle, but it’s going to get that photo of your pride and joy more eye traffic – which means more likes!

5. Keep trying! – You can keep entering every month until you win the Grand Prize!  What’s the worst that could happen? You end up getting enough Toys-R-Us gift cards to cover the entire Christmas shopping fandango?
