In recognition of Governor Kemp’s Executive Order to insure a safe and healthy Georgia and that Order’s specific designation of “critical infrastructure”, the Milton Ruben Dealerships are reopening on Monday, April 6.

During our brief closure, we have extensively sanitized our facilities and embarked on a program of implementing the Executive Order’s specifically enumerated protective measures to promote the health and well being of our guests and associates.

Milton Ruben’s hours will be expanded for added convenience and safety. Our Service and Parts Departments will be available to serve our guests Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. We will be operating by pre-scheduled appointment for the convenience of our guests and so that we can have the exact amount of staff necessary to manage your experience. This will greatly aid our commitment to social distancing.

We also offer our all new Drivebaby Curbside! program for service and sales. According to scheduled appointments, we will enthusiastically and hygienically retrieve your vehicle from your home to perform scheduled maintenance or necessary repair. It will be returned after we have performed service and deep cleaning. If you are like us and have been designated by the Executive Order as part of the state’s critical infrastructure, our sales and finance professionals are prepared to meet your transportation needs by appointment at our dealerships. Alternatively, Drivebaby Curbside! can come to you for a test drive or to answer questions about new and used vehicles.

That’s why we have partnered with Toyota to offer Toyota Certified Pre-owned Vehicles because we know that they have been tested and inspected to the highest extent to ensure they are ready for your driveway. All TCUV must undergo a rigorous 160 point inspection process that is carried out by a factory-trained technician. Any necessary repairs that the vehicle may need will be carried out by a factory-trained technician and the vehicle will be reconditioned. The goal is to ensure that every TCUV has that like-new look and feel that you would expect in your vehicle, whether it is new, or new to you! In addition to the rigorous inspection that the vehicle will go through you will also receive aCARFAX® Vehicle History Report™ to ensure it’s worthy of the certification process. Only the best of the best vehicles receive the Toyota Certified Seal of Approval!

The 160 point inspection (174 for hybrids) is very extensive and includes:

We have had some big changes to our Sales Management team here at Milton Ruben Toyota! We are really excited to be working with such an incredibly talented and seasoned team of Sales Managers and we would like to take the time to introduce each one of them to you.

Thorston Naperkowski, our new General Sales Manager, has been with the Milton Ruben team since 2009 and in the car business since 2005. He has worked in sales most of his life and says he loves it! He enjoys talking to customers and being able to help them get into vehicles that they love. Thorston is excited to be a part of the Toyota team and he can’t wait to meet all of our great customers!

Dwayne Kanoyton, Sales Manager, has been in the car business for 23 years! Dwayne came to Milton Ruben 11 years ago and has been in every position possible, including Service Manager at one time. He says that his favorite part of working in the car business is assisting customers with their needs and being able to help get them into a car that they love. Dwayne enjoys making a connection with his customers, Its not just a deal for him.

William Belo, Sales Manager, has been in the car business an impressive 17 years and has been with Milton Ruben for 6 years. Belo says his favorite part about working in the car business is putting a smile on peoples faces! William has worked in every aspect of the car sales business from Sales to Finance to Manager he has done it all!

Jeff Hennen, Milton Rubens EOM, has joined the sales desk while keeping his EOM role. Jeff has been in the car business since 2004, after spending many years in both the Army and the Marines. He says he loves the car business because no 2 days are ever the same and he loves helping people get in the cars of their dreams.

Paul Nopper, Sales Manager and Customer Relations Manager, has been with Toyota an incredibly impressive 27 years! If you are looking to learn about a specific vehicle or you want to purchase a Toyota with very specific requests, Paul is your guy. Paul came to Milton Ruben in 2009 when Milton Ruben acquired Toyota of Augusta. He started working in the car business in 1991 with a Toyota dealership and never looked back. Paul loves helping customers get their perfect car and says his favorite thing is seeing his customers face light up when they get behind the wheel of their perfect new car.

We have an impressive arsenal of managers at our Sales Desk and we couldn’t be more excited to see what they have to offer to all of our great customers. Be sure to stop by our show room to say hello to the new faces behind the desk!

You may recall our Lose Baby competition from last year. Well, it’s back! For the fourth year in a row, Milton Ruben is losing in the best way possible. Our annual weight-loss competition, LoseBaby, is currently taking place across the company, and employees are working hard to adopt healthy habits and lose a few pounds. The male and female employees with the greatest results after 90 days will each win $500. We have also added a second place prize this year. The second place male and female participants will take home $100 cash!

The Lose Baby competition has just started. At only a week in we have several employees that have stepped forward and are up for the challenge. We are so excited to see the changes that they make and hear about their progress. We know that each one will work hard to do their very best, just like they have in years past!

We will be keeping up with the competition with regularly scheduled weigh-ins. At each weigh-in the participants will be given motivational items, like t-shirts and salad to-go kits, to keep them excited about this 90 day competition. We will also be working on offering our employees weight loss tips and exercise options during the competition. Our photographer, Langley Newman, is a certified yoga instructor and she is very excited to teach every one some new techniques to keep them fit and healthy.

We can’t wait to share the results of our 4th annual Lose Baby with all of you. We know every one is going to do great. With a competition like this, every participant is a winner!  We couldn’t be prouder of our employees, tune in in June to meet our winners.

Our Toyota PROS!

Milton Ruben Toyota is proud to announce that four of our employees have been honored as Southeast Toyota PROS. PROS, or Professional Retail Outstanding Salespeople, are Toyota employees who have exceeded performance expectations while attaining above average customer satisfaction scores. 

Our current PROS are: Abraham Pacheco, Dennis Giles, Tracy Reddick, and William Jenkins

Dennis and Abraham are new to the PROS team and we couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and dedication that they put in to earn this honor. It takes a lot of work and drive to earn this honor of being called a Toyota Sales PROS and the pride can be seen on their faces. Welcome to the elite, Dennis and Abraham!

Salespeople must have completed all Toyota certifications in order to qualify for this prestigious award. All Sales employees must receive higher than 95.5 percent customer satisfaction, and their dealership must reach its sales objective throughout the year. 

It’s safe to say that our Toyota PROS Sales Consultants have a depth of knowledge and a love for their customers that can’t be beat. We love having a sales team that is dedicated to the business and go above and beyond every day for their customers! 

We’re ecstatic to have four PROS in our store. Having this many award winners under our roof is an incredible honor, and we can’t wait to continue learning from them and feeding off of their passion for Toyota vehicles and customer comfort.

We have a new General Manager in the house and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce him to you! Andy O’Harrow has been with Milton Ruben Toyota since 2009 and he has been nothing short of an excellent asset from his first day. 

Andy started at Milton Ruben Toyota in 2009 when Toyota of Augusta closed and became part of the Milton Ruben dealership. He has been in the auto industry since 2003, he started as a Sales Consultant at a dealership in Milwaukee.

Andy has worked in every sales position that a car dealership offers, from Finance Manager, to Sales Consultant he’s excelled at every position and has really worked his way up to this point in his career. His career at Milton Ruben Toyota started out as a Sales Consultant and from there he moved to finance and eventually to the desk as the General Sales Manager, which has brought him to the position of General Manager.

When asked what he loves about working in the car business Andy replied, “The car business has always been good to me. It is one of the most rewarding industries if you have a winners mentality. I love the challenge of finding ways to help people out of situations. Every day there is someone that comes in with expectations that we cannot help them, whether it be for credit, negative equity, or budget constraints. My experience in finance has taught me to have an ‘outside of the box’ way of thinking. The best part is the constant challenge of meeting goals put in front of me, meeting/exceeding them, and still feeling good about what I do when I go home at night, because this is a service related industry. We have great, loyal customers… being a part of that is a cherry on top!”

When asked what he loves about Milton Ruben Toyota, “We have adopted a culture that puts the customer first, and we have a culture that no matter what, wants to meet and exceed every objective that the manufacturer puts in front of us. That culture bleeds into every position from top to bottom within our organization.”

Outside of work, Andy has 2 children, Jason, 13, and Jordan, 9 and his wife, Christina. Andy contributes his success to the support of his family. “She pushes me every day to be the best version of me, and has always motivated me to live with compassion and empathy”, he said about his wife. 

Andy grew up in a large, blended family and says that family is a big part of what he is about. He enjoys spending time with his family as often as he can and does so by being a big part of his son, Jordan’s, journey in Boy Scouts. He loves having family around and for that reason, treats his staff like family as well. 

Andy is hoping to break goals and set new ones in his new role as General Manager. He plans to continue the success that Milton Ruben Toyota has grown accustomed to in the last several years and we know he will be nothing short of successful.

The holidays are fast approaching, if you can’t feel it in the air then just step inside a home decor store and you’ll see it. Sometimes this time of year gets busy and it’s easy to forget the simple things that make the holidays great, like spending time with family and friends over a great meal. Thanksgiving is supposed to be our reminder of thankfulness but sometimes it gets lost in the excitement. So, before the stress of decor, menus and guest lists take over our minds we decided to take a little bit of time to reflect on what we are thankful for. 

Like many people are, most of our staff are thankful for their families. Our Sales Manager, Andy, said he is beyond grateful for his wonderful family, “My Family, My Children, they are my motivation and the reason I work as hard as I do. My family is the reason I am the man I am today”

Many of our staff are motivated by the wonderful loving families that they have at home. Our Sales Manager, Randy, said that he gets by every day on the support of his family and that he is so thankful to have that.

Some of the Sales Team said they were thankful for each day that passed, and the opportunity to work and be healthy. Every one has different reasons to be thankful, whether it’s your kids or pets, your supportive parents or your loving spouse, it’s important to take a step back from time to time and reflect on the things you are thankful for. 

During this holiday season, we will be challenging ourselves to be thankful for something, big or small, every day. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle so it’s important to remember the little things that make the time great. So, whether it’s the smile on your kids faces, or hot chocolate and your favorite holiday movie, be thankful for something, each day. 

November and December are such an exciting magical time of year, Christmas carols, desserts, family dinners and beautiful decorations. We hope you and yours enjoy this time with each other, and don’t forget to stop and be thankful!

We have big changes coming to your Service Department and we can’t wait to share them with you! We are always looking for ways that we can improve our customers experiences here at Milton Ruben Toyota so we have spent some time looking at some of our customers requests.

Our first change is a big one, we have a new Service Lane Manager to introduce to you. Rachel Sims has been with Milton Ruben for almost 6 years and she’s been nothing short of phenomenal in her time here. In addition to running our Parts Department, flawlessly, for the last several years Rachel also single handedly takes on many of our community involvement projects from the annual Breast Cancer Walk to Trunk or Treat Halloween parties. You would be hard pressed to find someone who cares about their customers, employees and community as much as Rachel and we are so lucky to have her!

Rachel has lived in Augusta most of her life and says that her favorite thing to do in town is spend time with her husband and 2 children.

We are so excited to have Rachel stepping up into this new position, with her record of success here at Milton Ruben we know she’s going to take this change and really run with it. When asked what she is hoping to bring to Milton Ruben Toyota customers in her new position Rachel stated, “I hope to bring a ‘wow’ factor to our customers, We are making several changes that will improve the customer experience. It will take some time, but it will make us better for our customers.”

Milton Ruben Toyota customers will notice many changes to their service experiences in the coming months. While some changes may take some time to roll out a few will be coming soon! We will be adding a new coffee machine and also charging ports in the waiting room for our customers. We are always looking for ways to make the service experience an enjoyable one for our customers and we feel that adding these small touches will make our customers more comfortable during their wait.

Rachel says that she’s excited to be able to make a difference for our customers and also our employees. We are excited to see the many changes that we having coming up and we hope that our customers are too!

Congratulations Rachel, we can’t wait to see all the positive things you accomplish in your new role! We are all so excited for you.
